21 Feb Osino Resources Consolidates Its Land Package At Karabib
Osino Resources (TSXV – OSI) has just announced it has added another 700 sq km to its land package at the Karibib Gold Project in Namibia.
Through the acquisition of EPL 6167, Osino has gained ground over 1.5 km of strike on the Karibib gold trend, more specifically part of the gold in calcrete anomaly forming part of the Twin Hills Extension Target. It is believed that the Twin Hills anomaly continues to the southwest, along the Karibib gold trend, below this layer of calcrete. If this theory holds, the acquisition of EPL 6167 will be timely.
The Acquisition of EPL 5880, located just northwest of the producing Navachab gold mine, gives Osino another 20 km of strike along the Karibib gold trend.
Osino has a district scale project at Karibib. Twin Hills has proven to be gold-bearing and exploration through 2019 will help give guidance as to how big Twin Hills might get. But how many more Twin Hills are there on the 6700 sq km land package? Heye Daun has been involved in many change of control projects before, given sufficient time for exploration, Karibib will be another project to add to the list.
